The Silver Dream

All stories have a beginning and this one is mine. Produced for a college film course, "Knock on Wood" is my first independent project. Filmed on an iPhone and finished within an accumulated span of a day, this short film is one I am proud of and reminds me of what I aim to achieve.

Working full time as an automotive photographer has been a great opportunity to sharpen my skills as a cinematographer.

A recent example of my work. Utilizing the challenge of creating something with a tight time constraint, this project was limited to 25 seconds. The purpose of this project was to improve my understanding of the film process while maintaining a cohesive and appealing product within a small time slot.

Directed by Jack Clayton, a talented filmmaker and friend. I was invited on to the project as an assistant camera and overall production assistant. This short film was entered into the L.A. Film Awards and had the privilege of achieving quarter finalist in the event.

“Filmmaking isn't just what I do—it's who I am. My goal is to create feature films that mesmerize and inspire, leading cinema toward reclaiming the pop-culture throne.”

Community

Every year, Subaru of Wichita hosts a 5k run/walk that brings the community together for fun, connection, activity, music, and food. I was given the opportunity to capture this event, adding a live event to my experience.
